Dead Space 2 [ENGLISH]

Dead Space 2 Review [ENGLISH]

Game Review : Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2 [ENGLISH]

Dead Space 2 [ENGLISH]Just finished Dead Space 2, it's a very very intense game. Dead Space 2 (2011), a horror, action, thirdperson, RPG scored 2 / 4 Thumbs from Intion.

Actually, this is my first time playing a horror game. And I really felt the tension. Dead Space 2, from the gameplay, it was fun, and no wonder since there are a lot of weapons to choose. What makes it better, is that the weapons are 'futuristic' model and that's cooler compared to normal weapons. Plus, badass armors make this game really really cool.

The horror touch is OK. I can't say it's bad, but maybe not maximized for horror category since there are still many horror games that's more scary than Dead Space. 15 Chapters, every chapter's duration is pretty long, especially if you don't use YOLO mode when playing.

For you guys who haven't play yet, DO NOT get fooled by chapter one. Chapter 1 - 7 is very very very easy. Maybe you won't even use any health kid. But after that, the difficulty is like increased drastically. So many new hard to kill monsters. So don't be too cocky on the beginning.

Play with strategy, there are a lot of weapons to use in game, Plasma Cutter, Line gun, Pulse Rifle, Contact Beam, Seeker Rifle, Javelin, Ripper, Flamethrower, Force gun, and Detonator.

Plasma Cutter, this is like the best weapon in the game, moreover if you have fully upgrade it. The damage it produces is pretty good, maybe mid - high. Compared to Pulse Rifle, this weapon is better for 1 vs 1 fight.

Pulse Rifle, this one is for 1 vs Infinity. Like alien babies who's never coming alone, they always bring their schoolmate, they're a good target for Pulse Rifle. Firespeed is fast, and the capacity is enough to kill a horde of enemies.

Seeker Rifle, also good for 1 vs 1, but the respond is slower than Plasma Cutter. The damage it produces is very high.
Dead Space 2 [ENGLISH]
Line Gun, also good for 1 vs Infinity, BUT the reload speed is very slow, the capacity is small, and it's difficult to shoot it effectively. But it's special feature is pretty good.

Contact Beam, this is very good to save up stasis. The special feature is that we can stasis enemies around, very good for ganged up attack.

That was weapons that are useful for Dead Space 2 in Intion's opinion (actually I haven;t tried the rest). Back to difficulty, this game is really hard without cheats, trainer, etc. But there's one key for Dead Space 2, MONEY IS EVERYTHING. In Resident Evil series, we can't buy ammo, but in Dead Space, ammos are sold at the store for cheap price! This ease the gameplay, but also balanced by new enemies that are become stronger in every chapter.

Overall, Dead Space 2 is good.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Review

Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 : Cutscene 10x Lebih Jelek daripada Gameplay

Nggak ada intro, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 (2013). Gara-gara nonton film Sniper Legacy gua jadi pengen ngekill pake sniper. Ada sih Operation Flashpoint : Red River, tapi bosen Akhirnya Sniper
Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 : Cutscene 10x Lebih Jelek daripada Gameplay
Ghost Warrior jadi pilihan. Storylinenya kurang matang, ibarat Anime cliffhanger. Gua malah sempet nggak nyadar kalo itu udah misi terakhir. Ah well, nggak usah basa-basi lagi, langsung aja scoring Intion untuk Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 :

Graphic Quality : 3.4/4 Thumbs (-)
Gameplay : 3.8/4 Thumbs (sniping asik)
Storyline : 3.7/4 Thumbs
Overall : 3.6/4 Thumbs (no comment)

Kinect 2.0 Coming to PC

Kinect 2.0 Coming Out on Windows PC Next Week

Kinect 2.0 for PC

Kinect 2.0 Coming to PC

A recently updated Microsoft Store listing for Kinect 2.0 indicates that the motion-tracking device will be hitting PC on July 15th.

The struggling motion sensor came bundled with all Xbox One consoles until recently, when after disappointing sales of its next-gen console Microsoft made the decision to remove Kinect 2.0 and slashed the price. There’s life in the old dog yet though, and in just over a week’s time it will be arriving for PC gamers, priced at $199/£159…
Kinect 2.0 Coming to PC

The original Kinect came locked and loaded with Windows PC-capable drivers out the box, but despite finding some success the Xbox One Kinect sensor was not compatible at launch.

Microsoft’s Bob Heddle said during the announcement of Kinect 2.0 last year that “the new Kinect sensor will bring opportunities for revolutionizing gaming and entertainment,” and it “will revolutionize computing experiences. The precision and intuitive responsiveness that the new platform provides will accelerate the development of voice and gesture experiences on computers.”

At the moment there is of course nothing on PC directly compatible with Kinect 2.0, and Microsoft are hoping to get these in developer’s hands so native apps and games can be readily designed. Priced at just shy of $200 it’s a tough sell, particularly after removing it from the Xbox One bundled shaved just $100 off the price.

Watch Dogs on Console = PC on High

Watch Dogs on Console Will Equal to PC on High

Watch Dogs on Console = PC on High spec.

Watch Dogs on Console = PC on High

"Watch Dogs creative director Jonathan Morin has revealed the difference in graphical quality between the PC and next-gen console versions of Watch Dogs.

Morin claimed that Watch Dogs on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will look as good as running Watch Dogs on PC high settings, although the resolution could be a lot lower…

Tweeting to fans asking about Watch Dogs performance yesterday afternoon, Morin said Watch Dogs “PC High settings = NG Consoles.” So Watch Dogs should be looking pretty top-notch on the new consoles, but as always the place to be for the definitive version of Watch Dogs will be PC. If you’ve got a sweet enough gaming rig you’ll of course be able to crank Watch Dogs up to Ultra settings for the ultimate experience at up to 4K resolution.
Watch Dogs on Console = PC on High

We know that the resolution in Watch Dogs is capped at 900p (1600x900) on PS4 and just 792p (1408x792) on Xbox One, so PC is the ultimate platform for those hunting for the sharpest resolution. Just be prepared to need a beast of a rig to squeeze Watch Dogs past 1080p on Ultra.

For those Ultra settings in Watch Dogs you’re going to need a mammoth GeForce GTX 780 or Radeon R9 290, couple with a quad-core i7-4770K 3.5GHz with 8GB RAM to boot.

There’s also some possible good news for those at the other end of the Watch Dogs system requirements spectrum, with Morin claiming that while “4GB is lower than min specs. It might run if nothing else is running, but when it swaps to your hard drive it will lag.”

There will be no lock mechanism in place to prevent users trying to run Watch Dogs with specs below the minimum requirements, so there could be a little more wiggle room for those willing to drop down the Watch Dogs graphics settings.

Watch Dogs is out worldwide on May 27th, for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360."

PS4 Could Pass PS2 to Become Best-Selling Sony Console?

"PS4 Could Pass PS2 to Become Best-Selling Sony Console" Said Sony Boss

PS4 Becoming Best-Selling Sony Console

PS4 Could Pass PS2 to Become Best-Selling Sony Console?

"The PlayStation 2 remains, to date, Sony’s best selling console, with over 155 million of the consoles shifted, but Sony are apparently gearing up for their current PlayStation 4 to overtake this in lifetimes sales.

Sony boss Kaz Hirai stated in a corporate strategy meeting this week that, thanks to the PS4’s strong initial sales and the general growing popularity of digital, PS4 is well on track to eventually become Sony’s best-selling console.
PS4 Could Pass PS2 to Become Best-Selling Sony Console?

“It is likely that PS4 will become the platform which exceeds the profits earned with PS2” Hirai stated, underlining the 7 million PS4 units sold in just the first 6 months since its November launch.

Last week, Sony posted major, company-wide losses, but noted that its game division actually increased in sales year-on-year. Taking into account PS2 and PS3, Sony sold 14.6 million home consoles in the 2013 financial year, but are hoping the PS4 can boost this in the coming year. It is predicting home console sales of 17 million in this financial year.

The Playstation 2’s generational lifespan was 6 years between its launch in 2000 and the PS3 release in 2006, but the console continued to sell well for several years after this point. However, times have changed since then, with PC now being much more competitive and popular as a gaming platform, and with the differences between PC and consoles ever shrinking. Only time will tell if Sony’s predictions for the PS4 will prove correct."

PS4 and XBox One Facing Huge RAM Limitations??

CryTek Developer Warns PS4 and XBox One Facing Huge RAM Limitations

PS4 and XBox One RAM Limitations

PS4 and XBox One Facing Huge RAM Limitations??

"Ryse: Son of Rome developer CryTek has warned that being limited to 8GB of RAM will be a huge shortcoming for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Both current-gen consoles come packing 8 gigs of memory, a huge chunk of which is taken up by each system’s OS. While many of the early titles have looked fantastic, CryTek’s business development manager Sean Tracy has said that it is already encountering RAM limitations on PS4 and Xbox One…

PS4 and XBox One Facing Huge RAM Limitations??
Speaking in an interview with GamingBolt, Tracy claimed that “Though the PS4 and Xbox One don’t offer an enormous jump over the previous generation in terms of raw processing power, the custom AMD APU’s within both platforms represent a huge leap forward in terms of integration and capability.

“We are delighted with the updates to the next-gen hardware but of course always want more! The unified architecture of the [Accelerated Processing Units] allows us to easily leverage massive amounts of resources for all kinds of features including rendering, physics, animation and more.”

While this may all sound like great news for console gamers, Tracy was quick to put the kibosh on this news, signalling alarm when revealing that Xbox One launch title Ryse: Son of Rome pushed the system to its limit thanks to RAM limitations.

“I would have to agree with the viewpoint that 8 gigs can easily be filled up, but also keep in mind that developers don’t necessarily even have access to all 8 gigs of it,” Tracy continued. “For example the Xbox One retains some of the RAM for OS purposes.

“We already had to manage quite intensely our memory usage throughout Ryse and this will be one of the limiting factors surely in this generation. As hardware gets stronger the complexity of scenes can be increased and the dynamism within them. However, with that said it’s not the raw power alone that will allow for photorealistic graphics but technology that intelligently scales and utilizes all that the hardware has to offer.”

It’s worth bearing in mind that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 both came packing a meagre 512MB of RAM, which was still enough to produce gaming beauties such as The Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, and Halo 4."

Watch Dogs Breaking Records

Watch Dogs Breaks the Pre-Order Records, Becomes Most Pre Ordered New IP of 2014

Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs Breaking Records

"In an announcement that probably won’t surprise anyone that has followed the Watch Dogs franchise from the outset, Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming hacker game has become the most pre-ordered new IP in the entire history of Ubi.

Not only this, but the game is also the most pre-ordered new IP in the industry this year and the second highest pre-ordered Ubisoft game ever, according the the company’s figures…

That means it looks like - for the moment at least - Watch Dogs is out-doing Destiny, which has also been tipped as a major competitor when it comes to new IPs in 2014.

"These strong pre-orders are a clear indication of players' anticipation and excitement for Watch Dogs," said Ubi's Geoffroy Sardin "The teams have worked tirelessly to ensure that players will enjoy a top quality game with enormous scope, and we can't wait to get the game into their hands."

"We are seeing tremendous excitement for the new Watch Dogs game," said Michael van den Berg, VP of Merchandising at GameStop. "In fact, Watch Dogs is the highest pre-ordered next-generation console game to date. It is on track to be one of the top selling video games across all consoles in 2014."

We don't know exact number as yet, but details coming out of Ubisoft say that the French publisher is anticipating that Watch Dogs will outsell the first Assassin's Creed game; a title which racked up an impressive 6.3 million lifetime sales.

If you've not yet pre-ordered Watch Dogs, don't forget about Game Debate's own Watch Dogs give-away, where you can win Watch Dogs and a handful of other games."

Far Cry 4 News

Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4 News

"Ubisoft's Far Cry 4 is on its way and will release later this very year!

Its only been two years since the release of Far Cry 3 (Nov 2012) but we anticipate that FC4 will get fans of open world first person shooters clamoring for the next in the Far Cry series. Ubi will likely splash out with lots of juicy details at this years upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), June 10th. But lets take a look at what we have so far on Far Cry 4...
Far Cry 4 News

Dan Hay of Ubisoft Montreal says “wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise and exceed fan expectations.” Dan is the Executive producer at Ubi Montreal and leading the FC4 development team.

Far Cry 4 will take place in a fictional Himalayan province called Kyrat, where a crazed self proclaimed modern day king rules.

Far Cry 4 is expected to be filled with the usual wildlife hunting and is being reported to include elephant riding as one of the activities open to the player. The usual scattering of vehicles, weapons and explosives are going to litter the snow covered craggy lands of the mountainous Himalayas for the player to find and abuse, while pursuing the inevitable opt in story line that accompanies these Ubisoft blockbuster titles.

But it wont all be arctic like backdrops, there will also be sunnier regions available to explore set around the alpine woodlands of the imaginative lands of Kyrat.

It sounds like a number of studios under the control of Ubisoft are coming together to get Far Cry 4 finished this year. These studios include Red Storm, Ubi Kiev, Ubi Toronto and Ubi Shanghai. How much each of these studios is contributing is not known, but it certainly suggests the final push towards the November 2014 release window.

The Far Cry 4 release date is set for November 20th in Europe where as Far Cry 4 will release on 18th November in the North Americas.

Far Cry 4 will be available on the following platforms: PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, XBox One and XBox 360

There is already talk of pre-order bonuses, to try and get fans to add Far Cry 4 to their 2014 purchase list today. If you pre-order then you will be getting a bunch of limited edition content that revolves around the character Hurk from Far Cry 3. Hurks Redemption, is a set of 3 single player missions that feature Hurk himself and you gain access to Hurk's trusty harpoon gun, known as The Impaler.

Far Cry 4 News

Naturally Far Cry 4 will be aiming at more mature audiences.

As we said though, lots more Far Cry 4 info will pour out of E3 in June which will be the first Far Cry 4 official announcement."

New Assasins Creed

Ubisoft Confirms 2 Assasins Creed Games Coming in Autumn 2014

Assasin Creed : Unity

New Assasins Creed

"Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Unity will be one of two Assassin’s Creed titles releasing this Autumn.

Confirmed as a next-gen and PC-only title, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is being developed by a whopping 10 Ubisoft studios, and will be joined by the oft-rumoured Assassin’s Creed Comet…

New Assasins Creed
Ubisoft revealed the news during a financial call yesterday afternoon, reporting that Ubisoft Montreal, Toronto, Singapore, Quebec. Annecy, Shanghai, Chengdu, Kiev, Montpellier, and Bucharest are all in chipping in to help Assassin’s Creed Unity’s development. It’s little wonder there was an info leak back in March isn't it?

Other than the all-too-brief cinematic trailer and the knowledge that Unity is set during the French Revolution, very little is known about Ubisoft’s next-gen offering.

Even more of a mystery is Assassin’s Creed Comet, which Ubisoft chairman Yves Guillemot has confirmed will be a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 only release. PC gamers will be disappointed to know there have been few whispers of Comet reaching your trusty beige box.

Both Assassin’s Creed titles are set to go head-to-head this fall, with more info of course expect during Ubisoft’s E3 2014 press conference on 9th June."

Unreal Engine 4 Support for XboX One, Linux, Steam OS, and PS4

Unreal Engine 4 Support arrives for Linux, Steam OS, PS 4, and XboX One

Unreal Engine 4 Supports

Unreal Engine 4 Support for XboX One, Linux, Steam OS, and PS4

"Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 is now compatible with Linux, Steam OS, PS4 and Xbox One after a major update to the graphics engine.

GDC saw the battle of the game engines, as Epic, Crytek and Unity fought over their respective game engines, offering up knock-down prices for subscription services that look hard to resist. The competition’s far from over though, as Epic has now future-proofed its brand-new engine for the latest gaming consoles, as well as doing Gabe Newell a hefty favour with Linux and Steam OS support…

Unreal Engine 4 Support for XboX One, Linux, Steam OS, and PS4
Unreal Engine 4 is available now to would-be developer for a $19 per month subscription fee. The days of devs forking out millions of dollars to license game engines now seem but a hazy memory.

We know from the tech demos that we’ve seen over the years that UE4 is a bit of a beast, but until now there’s nothing out there actually released to support it. Next week’s procedurally generated horror Daylight has become the engine’s debut, bucking Epic’s trend of showcasing its latest and greatest engine with its latest and greatest game. Epic is course busy beavering away on Fortnite, a co-op sandbox survival game where players must work together to erect a fort by day, before fending off invaders at 'nite'.

So what does this mean for you, the gamer? Well, more games. Games galore. A games extravaganza on nearly every platform. The steamrolling Linux support could well see a huge shift in gaming as the years roll by, but for now it’s looking like Steam OS could be getting a strong start when it officially launches later this year."

SimCity Finally Back Offline

SimCity Finally Updated With Offline Single Player Mode

SimCity Finally Back Offline

SimCity Finally Back Offline

"They said it wasn’t possible. They said it couldn’t be done. It’s just over a year now since its launch, but SimCity is now officially free of its always-online shackles.

EA has finally deployed the crucial update, meaning would-be town planners can now get simming and citying to their hearts content, without the pesky DRM getting in the way of their efforts to turn EAville into a gigantic landfill…
SimCity Finally Back Offline

The fix has been packaged in with the new update 10, and will allow SimCity to be booted up in Origin’s offline mode - once you’ve connected and downloaded the update of course. All the region maps are available in the new single-player mode, as well as multiple cities. Anything that requires a persistent internet connection though won’t work - including Leaderboards, Citylog, Achievements, Friends List, Player Profile, the Region Wall and region invites.

SimCity launched to a fair bit of controversy last year, as a trifecta of game-crippling problems saw the return of a once-great franchise brought crashing to its knees. A dangerous cocktail of server outages, always-online DRM, and limited city sizes forced SimCity fans to brandish their burning pitchforks and march on EA HQ.

Server outages became a problem of the past pretty quickly once the mass-exodus of players occurred, while this latest update finally means that SimCity is fully playable without an internet connection."

Remember Me (2013)

Remember Me
Remember MeRemember Me (2013), setelah menyelesaikan DmC Devil may Cry, selanjutnya gua main Remember Me, karena mereka sama-sama dari Unreal Engine, dan VGA requirement nya sama, jadi santai saja. Anyway, penilaian Intion untuk Remember Me :

Graphic Quality : 3/4 Thumbs (Game jebolan 2013 bro, saudaranya DmC Devil may Cry)
Storyline : 2/4 Thumbs (lumayan ceritanya, walaupun rada nonsense)
Gameplay : 2/4 Thumbs (ada combo style yang bisa kita rancang juga, evade yang bagus, tapi inputnya rada lelet)
Overall : 2.3 out of 4 Thumbs (above medium rating)

SimCity (2013) Offline

SimCity Offline Mode in Final Testing, Says Maxis

SimCity (2013) Offline

SimCity (2013) Offline

"SimCity dev Maxis has claimed that Update 10, which promises to finally bring an offline mode to last year’s unpopular iteration of the SimCity franchise, as well as allow modders to mod the game and game components without impacting SimCity’s online functionality.

Ten months ago, the development studio claimed that SimCity had been designed to play online, and that to give the game an offline mode would be “impossible”. Back in January, however, they confirmed that an offline update was in the works, and now they have confirmed that the change is round the corner, with single player mode imminent...

“Update 10 is in final testing. Almost there Mayors.” Maxis' SimCity  Twitter account tweeted on Wednesday.

The launch of SimCity last year was something of a disaster, with EA’s highly unpopular servers prone to issues that rendered SimCity virtually unplayable. Crashes, lost save data and extremely long loading times were frequent and persistent, with many resenting issues caused by an online multiplayer mode that fans of the franchise had neither asked for nor wanted.

There’s many for whom these latest changes will be too little, too late; SimCity reached its 1 year anniversary this week. However, if this update does prove as significant as it first appears, it may be enough to tempt some players to give the game another go.

“In Update 10, you can still play solo in Regions on your own, or in Multiplayer with people from around the world," said Maxis Manager Patrick Buechner on the update when it was announced back in January. "What's new is the Single Player Mode, which allows you to play the game Offline by yourself. And because your saved games in this mode are stored locally, you can save and load to your heart's content.""

GeForce GTX 880M

Nvidia Launches GeForce 8GTX 800M Series GPUs

GeForce GTX 880M 8GB

GeForce GTX 880M

"Nvidia has officially unveiled its range of 800M series GeForce GTX mobility graphics cards. While much of what was previously rumoured has come to pass, there’s also quite a few new variants, featuring a spread of Kepler, Maxwell and even Fermi architecture.

The hotly-anticipated Maxwell architecture is limited to just three variants, the GeForce GTX 850M, 840M and 830M, as Nvidia introduces a whole new spread of new 800M series GPUs…

The GeForce GTX 880M, 870M and 850M were exactly what we anticipated they would be from the leaked presentation slides, but we’re also seeing the introduction of two 860M variants as well as low end 840M, 830M and 820M mobile graphics solutions.

Check out the full known list of GeForce 800M Specs below…

Nvidia GeForce GTX 800M Series Graphics Cards

GeForce GTX 880M

Nvidia’s announcement of the cards was joined by a claim that we can expect to see 30 to 60 per cent performance increases in comparison to its 700M series of graphics cards, as well as a potential doubling of battery life.

“This year, we are changing the way we define progress for gaming notebooks,” said Nvidia’s product manager Mark Aevermann. “Not only are we bringing faster GPUs to the table, we are also introducing a whole new set of killer features designed specifically for notebook gamers.”

The new Nvidia Battery Boost mode, in conjunction with the efficient and low-power Maxwell GPUs means that some of these cards can offer up to twice the gaming battery life than that seen in previous gen gaming laptops. Battery Boost works by limiting things such as a locked 30fps frame rate while running on battery, before shooting back to 60 fps when plugged into the mains."

Phone-Debate

Introducing Phone Debate : Phone Hardware Game Checker Area

Phone-Debate

Phone-Debate

"Developing and seeing what Game Debate becomes is a passion of mine and one that I continue to share with all of you, especially when you give me your awesome feedback and ideas. Obviously we are focused on hardware and gaming related tech, so it wont be much of a surprise to most of you to hear that I continually get requests for more tools on phones/tablets and their gaming options.

Now to cater to the phone arena we’re extending GD by adding the Phone Debate site area to help cater to those sorts of interests. The site is still in fairly early development (surprise surprise, that basically means that I have tonnes of never before seen tools I want to add to the new phone area) but it is already completely functional and has mobile/cell phone tools on it that do not exist anywhere else in the world already...

And lets face it, your enthusiasm for new features in this area only match your tenacity for all things technologically advanced. Of course, the mobile market is continuing to spread across the technology sector, and we all want more solutions to match our mobile gaming and tech needs as well as those for our home computers. More and more of you are owning smartphones, phablets and tablets, and using these for the kinds of games and apps that were previously limited to PC users.

I know that GD'ers care deeply about technology and technical advances, and so I wanted to give you the same ability to compare hardware and check out the latest news on Phone Debate as you have on Game Debate. We want to be able to choose mobile technology that suits us, whether we're a hardware buff or a gaming nut and hopefully Phone-Debate is a solid step in that direction.

What Is Phone Debate?

Phone Debate is a new area of Game Debate. It takes many of our most popular tool concepts from Game Debate - including hardware comparison and “Can I Run It” gaming tools - and extends these to cover the mobile smartphone and tablet market where none existed before.

For example, I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and by visiting its phone debate page you will be able to get a thorough grasp of its spec details.
Phone-Debate

It’s not always easy to see what you’re getting for your money when you invest in a new mobile, and we wanted to create an easy system to compare different phones with each other and see which performs best in terms of technology, value for money, storage, battery life, display and camera functions. Using these categories, you can compare mobiles whilst focusing on the things that are most important to you; whether you want the phone with the best camera available, or whether you just need an inexpensive cell that won’t need its battery recharging twice a day.

For example, maybe I was thinking of upgrading to the S4 and so wanted to view a like for like comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S4 Vs Samsung Galaxy S2 that I have now.

As gaming on mobile gets more sophisticated, so does the technology you will need to run it. With this in mind, we’ve extended our “Can I run it” system requirements function from Game Debate to cover mobile games too. If you go to your own phone’s individual page, you can search for popular applications and games to see how well they will perform on your mobile.

You can also quickly run the Can I Run mobile games on both phones at the same time, from the comparison phone pages.

Keeping up to date with mobile gaming and technology will also be one of our key aims for Phone Debate. Just like on GD, we’ll be regularly updating the site with the latest news from the mobile technology and gaming industries. We’re also aiming to provide an increasing number of mobile game reviews to help you separate the diamonds from the duds.

It’s early days for Phone Debate and it is currently getting some of the data moved across to it from the old server, so some phones might be missing for a few days, but I would love for you to check out the site for yourselves and have a play around!"

source - Game-Debate

This is just too much of technology. But I'll always visit the site, both Game-Debate or Phone-Debate Periodically.

Dark Souls : Counting Death

Dark Souls Fansite Allows Player to Track Their Total Deaths

Dark Souls : Counting Death

Dark Souls : Counting Death

"It’s probably too sobering a thought for many, but a new website tool for the original Dark Souls allows gamers to check out their total number of deaths in the game by uploading a completed game save.

Now, we knew death happened a lot in Dark Souls, but it’s not until you get your eyes on the figures that you truly begin to realise what an imposing game From Software’s title is…

Dark Souls : Counting Death
No doubt for reasons of sanity, the statistics are hidden away from view in Dark Souls, until this fansite came to be, giving gamer credibility and morale a right good kicking.

The stats reveal that From Software’s action RPG is every bit as hideously difficult as it's made out to be, with the average number of deaths in a complete playthrough currently sitting at a staggering 626. What is surprising is that a pretty hefty 70% of gamers pushed through and completed Dark Souls, showcasing that most gamers’ had enough perseverance to plough through to the end, despite staring into the jaws of doom for days of game time.

There’s also a cheeky bonus stat for people’s nicknames for one of gaming’s hardest boss pairs, Ornstein and Smough, with over 400 people thinking “Fuck This I Quit” is the most appropriate. Fittingly enough the sequel, Dark Souls 2, is due out in just a matter of days for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It’s arriving on March 11 in the Us and March 14 in Europe, with a worldwide PC release coming on April 25."

Hahah, this one is funny, I've played Dark Souls a little, I'm not too interested in it. But I know Dark Souls is a difficult game, and I've tried it myself.

AMD AM1 Chipset

AMD Shows Off th Low-Cost Upgradeable AM1 Chipset Aimed at Expanding PC Market

AMD AM1 Chipset

AMD AM1 Chipset

"AMD has developed a new low-cost desktop chipset, targeting more computing power for the sub-$60 market. The new AMD AM1 Kabini range of processors are system on a chip (SoC) designs, combining a Kabini API with a socketed FS1b motherboard.

While much of the tech industry focuses its designs on the mobile market, AMD is refocusing on cheaper alternative desktop chipsets for developing regions. What this means is cheaper PC hardware worldwide, while still remaining upgradeable thanks to the socket AM1 platform…
AMD AM1 Chipset

These new Kabini processors are being created to be similar to their laptop counterparts, while focusing on a key aspect of PCs - upgradeability. Each of the processors will come packing four Jaguar-based CPU controller, a memory controller supporting up to 1600 MHz memory and 128 streaming processors utilising the Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture. This will make them very similar in technology to the recently launched Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles, although the all-in-one packages will begin retailing for an expected starting price point of $60 for the combined chipset and motherboard.

A range of fifteen different motherboards are planned for the worldwide launch on April 9th, with many major chipset partners getting on board. The majority of the mobos will be in a micro-ATX form factor, while some are mini-ITX. Building a system using these components could see complete PC builds in the sub-$200 range, capable of playing many of the last decade’s games at lower settings.

While the specs won’t make for very pleasant reading for gamers it should be enough to create a system right at the lower end of the scale, great for running some of them older games. Gamers right at the cutting edge won’t see much to gain here, but AMD looks to be targeting a market of potentially billions of new PC gamers looking to get a foot in the door for an extremely affordable price.

These AMD AM1 products are expect to be available globally from April 9th."

OnLive

OnLive Reborn as Steam-Integrated CloudLift Store

Onlive

OnLive

"It’s disappeared from public view for the last 18 months or so but OnLive has once again surfaced, and it’s an even stranger proposition than before.

The video game streaming service is back with a new business model, a cloud gaming companion service going by the name CloudLift. The difference this time is that it no longer sells any games whatsoever…
OnLive

The new CloudLift service will work with gamer’s existing game collections, letting them stream their games remotely via any device with a browser. It’s beta opened up to everyone yesterday, and will allow them to stream select games via the CloudLift service for a subscription fee of £9.99/$14.99 per month, which doesn’t include the cost of buying the games from other services.

The service will automatically detect the games installed on your primary gaming machine and make them available for streaming. The difference between CloudLift and the previous Online service is that users can retain ownership of games they buy should their subscription lapse, and can still play their games in perfect fidelity at home.

The cloud play CloudLift service will reportedly work on PC, Max, TV and Android devices, while gamer’s cloud saves are synced automatically to allow them to pick up where they left off. Presumably this is being targeted at commuters who want to play games streamed from their gaming PC that their laptops aren’t capable of. The immediate problem is that OnLive already had large-scale issues due to input lag and artifacting from users without fast enough internet connections, CloudLift appears to rely exclusively on wireless connections to stream games.

CloudLift also has to contend with the issue that not every game is supported by the service, with it launching with a limited selection of titles, including Batman: Arkham City, The Lego Movie: Videogame, Saints Row IV and a dozen others.

We've tried to boot up the free trial to put it through its paces but it doesn't appear to working just yet, let us know if you have any luck!"

Deus Ex : The Fall SRystem Requirements

Deus Ex : The Fall Official System Requirements

Deus Ex : The Fall System Requirements

Deus Ex : The Fall SRystem Requirements

"News that Deus Ex: The Fall is being ported for PC and arriving on Steam in the next few weeks has got something of a mixed response from the gaming community. On the one hand, there are not many around who would turn their nose up at a new Deus Ex title for PC, but on the other, many have their doubts about the game being a port from mobile.

Square Enix has now released the official system requirements for Deus Ex: The Fall, and we personally think they’re on the high side for a - by all accounts - fairly brief mobile game. As we all know, "official" system requirements aren't always "correct" system requirements. You can judge for yourself below...

Deus Ex: The Fall Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows XP SP2

CPU: 2GHz dual core

RAM: 2 GB RAM

HD: 4 GB available space

GPU: DirectX 9.0c compatible

DX: 9.0c

Deus Ex: The Fall Recommended System Requirements

OS:  Windows 7 SP1

CPU: Quad Core 2.66GHz

RAM: 4 GB RAM

HD: 4 GB available space

GPU: GeForce 500 Series/ Radeon HD 7000 Series, 1 GB VRAM

----

As we’d expect, the minimum settings for the port are pretty low, any DX 9 compatible graphics card should run the title as long as you’re packing a 2GHz dual-core processor. It’s a mobile port, so we would expect virtually any modern rig to at least run it, especially since from what we’ve seen and heard about the PC port we aren’t going to see a significant change in graphics or power.

However, it’s those recommended requirements we’re a bit stumped by. If these are actually even vaguely accurate, it looks like the PC port was thrown together in double quick time. You can run the Android version of this game in 1080p with 4xMSAA on a quad-core mobile processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and 2GB of RAM, so we’re not sure whether to be sceptical, concerned or both over Square Enix’s claim that recommended PC settings are for a quad core 2.66GHz processor and 4GB Ram.

Low-end Radeon HD 7000 series and GeForce 500 series with 1GB VRAM should be pretty manageable for most people, and certainly aren’t as outlandish as the CPU and RAM requirements we’ve seen listed."

Watch Dog Release Date

Watch Dog Release Date Announcement and New Gameplay Trailer Imminent

Watch Dog Release Date

Watch Dog Release Date

"The official UK Playstation website may have inadvertently let slip an imminent announcement for Watch Dogs.

The competitions page of Sony’s website temporarily featured a box-out advertising a trailer dropping soon, with a release date for the highly anticipated Watch Dogs to accompany it...

How the leak appeared on the Playstation website
The blurb on the now removed advert read “Watch Dogs is on its way… Find out the release date in this new trailer…” While it is no longer present, a cached version existed for some time that contained references to Watch Dogs peppered throughout the page’s source code.

Watch Dog Release Date
Watch Dogs was originally planned for a November 2013 release before being delayed just weeks before its launch. At the time Ubisoft’s North American president Laurent Detoc said “It’s a very intense decision, not everybody agrees. You have to say, ‘this is in the best interest of the product, to do this,’ because at the end of the day we’re going to be able to do this extra fine tuning.”

Watch Dog Release Date

Watch Dogs is now currently scheduled to arrive by the end of June, for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. A Wii U version is expected some time later."
